It all started about 10 years ago in the corner of an antique mall. I sold what I loved, including my own original paintings on furniture. Now, two store locations and thousands of square feet later, I create beautiful displays with pieces that inspire me--and hopefully you, too.
I married my high school sweetheart over 30 years ago. Together we enjoy finding things with a past life and giving them a new purpose in life. There have been many projects that I have hauled home knowing that he could work his magic on. Marty really has a talent for repairing and rebuilding furniture that would probably end up in the landfill...the ultimate form of re-cycling! I do most of the painting and finish work on the pieces before they find their way to the shop.
I'm proud to be a lifelong San Luis Obispo County resident. Marty and I have two grown children, a dog and a cat. In my spare moments, I enjoy gardening. But my main hobby is keeping The Cottage vibrant and fresh for everyone's enjoyment.
